Posted On:2018-11-05 8:43:14

Exhibition Date: October 14, 2018-October 17, 2018

Location: Chicago, USA

The American International Packaging Exhibition is sponsored by the PMMI American Packaging Machinery Manufacturing Association. Once a year, it is held alternately in Chicago and Las Vegas. Since its first successful event in 1995, it has developed into the largest packaging exhibition in North America. It is a highly influential professional exhibition in the international packaging exhibition.

The United States is the most developed country in the world. It has a complete macroeconomic control system, and its gross domestic product and foreign trade rank first in the world. Americans have a large and diversified demand for food consumption. In terms of food packaging, they also put forward new requirements for diversification, such as low cost, environmental protection, and simple diversification.

The United States is now the only superpower in the world. The U.S. economy is relatively stable economically and militarily. It is believed that the U.S. economic stimulus plan will also make the U.S. economy more stable, more dynamic, and still maintain strong momentum. Maintain economic supremacy.

According to the statistics of the U.S. Department of Commerce, in January-October 2013, U.S. goods imports and exports amounted to 3207.56 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 0.6 % over the same period last year(the same below). Among them, exports amounted to 1311.19 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 2.1 %; Imports of 189.636 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 0.4 %. The trade deficit was 585.17 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 5.5 %. From January to October, the import and export volume of bilateral goods between the United States and China was 458.52 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 4.0 %. By October, China was the second largest trading partner, the third largest export market and the largest source of imports.

The largest trading partners of the United States are Canada, China, Mexico, and Japan, followed by products worth about US$ 1.1 billion per day. The U.S. economy is highly developed and the currencies of many countries around the world are pegged to the U.S. dollar. At present, the fastest growth in the production of packaging equipment is in developing countries and regions. Developed countries would benefit from stimulating domestic demand and would seek suitable local producers in developing countries, particularly in food-processing plants, to provide packaging machinery and equipment. If Chinese-made machinery can not compete with German, Italian and Japanese products on equipment such as labelling machines and packing machines, then some low-tech products can already meet the requirements of the US market and are most likely to make breakthroughs in the short term. In particular, some general-purpose packaging equipment, such as thermal shrink packaging machines, wrappers, etc., Chinese-made products cost less than half of U.S. products, have very strong competitiveness, and the low price is the best gateway for Chinese packaging machinery to enter the U.S. market.. In fact, there are already a number of US companies in China that carry out branded production and produce some of the products that are exported to the U.S. market.
